October 10: CASHRM Dinner and Meeting
Join us at the Crowne Plaza for our dinner program, CASHRM is proud to provide a mid-market benefits benchmarking survey to our membership. This survey is being provided by our October speaker, Scott Benefit Services with the help of a highly respected actuarial consulting firm. As a participant, you will receive valuable benchmarking data, comparing your unique plan(s) to others of similar size in your industry both nationally and right here in the Carolinas. As a participant, you will receive an Individual Customized Report that details your survey responses against the benchmarks. Last year’s survey included more than 5,000 companies nationwide!

Postponed until First Quarter 2017: CASHRM HR Business Partners - Enhance your Strategic Contributions
Join us at Crowne Plaza Executive Park for this 2-day workshop from 8 am to 5 pm each day. The workshop will cover developing the necessary skills to become an effective HR business partner (HRBP) and maximize the value of HR in your organization. Explore the positive impact of the HRBP role and how use of an HRBP structure improves HR services across organizations. Analyze case studies and engage in group discussions to enhance your consulting skills, business acumen, and ability to strategically contribute to organizational goals. Develop a business case and implementation plan to guide your organization’s transition to the HRBP structure. The cost of the workshop is $1295, but you can save $405 if you become a member. The cost for members is $890. Registration will open as soon as the new date is set.

SAVE THE DATE notices for upcoming 2016 events have now been posted to the website calendar. All SAVE THE DATE calendar entries can be downloaded to your calendar and will "convert" to meeting registration links whenever registration is open for an event. As a reminder, registration for a specific event typically opens up approximately 30 days before the event date. Please check back here and on the e-blast notices for event specifics.
Registrations, Walk-Ins, Cancellations and No-Shows:
All members, sponsors and guests for Charlotte Area SHRM , Rowan County HRA and SMA Charlotte™ events are responsible for registering for events prior to the event date in order to guarantee an accurate headcount for logistics setup and food and beverage planning purposes. Failure to register or cancel for an event can subject the chapter to unnecessary charges and expenditures. We have previously provided updates in recent e-blasts that explain the policies and procedures for registration, cancellation, walk-ins and no-shows.
